We are currently recruiting for two positions - Programme Manager (ParentPlus), and Senior Programme Manager (north London):

 


 

Senior Programme Manager-North London

35 hours per week (NJC scale PO3 sp38-41) £35,053 + 5% pension contribution

Role: To manage the north London Programme Team; to coordinate referrals, case allocation and the matching of volunteer mentors with children; serving as primary liaison with schools, social services and other agencies; maintaining and developing the relationships with professionals and funders within the London boroughs of Hackney and Islington; to work with additional north London boroughs as required.

Requirements: Recognised degree or other professional qualification in social work, child development, education, youth work or a related field, or significant experience in the voluntary sector. A minimum of 3 years team management experience, including planning, service delivery, monitoring and reporting; experience of implementing child protection procedures; experience of management of external relationships with partners, funders, and other agencies.

Programme Manager - ParentPlus


• NJC Scale SO2, spinal point 32-34 + 5% pension contribution
• Part time – 20 hours over 4 days. Term time only
• Permenant - 3 years subject to funding

Role

To effectively plan, develop, implement, monitor and evaluate the ParentPlus parent-mentoring programme for the children who use the services of Chance UK (children with behavioural problems at risk of social exclusion and criminal offending).

Requirements:

• A recognised degree or professional qualification in social work, child development, psychology, education or related fields or significant professional experience in the voluntary sector or related fields
• Minimum of two years experience working with families, in social work, education, voluntary sector or related fields
• Good communication, interpersonal, computer and team working skills
