2020 has certainly not been the year that many of us anticipated. As CEO I am so very proud of all that our mentors and staff have achieved these last few months: their creativity and resilience have not just kept our vital services running but have helped us adapt and improve to learn important lessons for service delivery in the future. We have also been inspired by how children and their parents and carers have continued to work with us through the uncertain times we’ve had and their commitment to keeping connected despite the challenges and changes this year.
Here is a brief look at our calendar year in numbers:
I also wish to say a big thank you to our funders and donors, whose support we value hugely, especially as we navigate these turbulent times.
Looking forward to our best hopes is written into Chance UKs DNA. So we look to 2021 with hope and with renewed resolve to do our utmost to serve London’s children, so they can grow to be confident, resilient young people despite the challenges ahead. On behalf of all the Chance UK team, we hope you enjoy the festive break and wish you all the best for 2021.
