Chance UK is seeking a suitably qualified supplier to work alongside the Charity in order to develop our recruitment, hiring and talent development and optimisation processes.
Background
Chance UK is an award-winning early intervention children’s charity founded in 1995. Our vision is for every child in the UK to feel happy about themselves, realise their potential, and be confident in their ability to build a brighter future.
The Charity provides a range of solutions focused support for children aged 5-13 and their parents and carers . Our services put children at the centre and are designed to build social and emotional skills and resilience.
We are at the start of an ambitious 5 year strategy which aims to help more children and families, expand the range of services we provide to better meet needs as well as challenging inequalities we see in the system and amplifying the voices of children and families we support.
At a time when millions are facing the challenges of recovery, we can make a difference by providing the support, resources and networks to help people get through and come out the other side with a positive mindset and inspiring story. To do this, we will focus on building resilience across three areas: Resilient Families; Resilient Communities and Resilient Charity.

Specification
The Charity wishes to make improvements to our current recruitment, hiring and talent development and optimisation processes in order to work towards our focus on building the resilience of the charity as part of our 5-year strategy.
This work will support us to meet strategic objective four, “Striving for excellence: investing in our people and systems to best support the children and families we serve”.
The appointed contractor will deliver the following services, supporting us to develop:
Robust Job Descriptions that closely match the needs of the role and organisation with the required competencies and experience;
Candidate behavioural assessments to support in the recruitment, training, learning and development for individual staff;
Understanding of the staff team skills and weaknesses through utilising the knowledge from individual behavioural assessments to understand the skills of the team and identify ways we can develop ourselves to be high functioning;
Full set-up and training for staff working on recruitment.

The quality and technical skills of the staff team who you propose to undertake this contract if successful and explain how those members will have the skills and availability to provide the service to a high standard.
