This International Day of Education, we are asking the next government to put children first.
Ahead of the next General Election, Chance UK have become an official supporting organisation of Children at the Table, a campaign led by the Children’s Charities Coalition (Action for Children, Barnardo’s, the National Children’s Bureau, NSPCC and The Children’s Society). Together we have a strong, unified voice to ensure that, across governmental departments, the voices, experiences and needs of babies, children and young people are listened to and acted upon. The campaign urges that the next Prime Minister and Chancellor to be champions for children and ensure that policy and funding is prioritised around their needs.
As a coalition of over 130 children’s charities, we can amplify the campaign and have greater influence on senior politicians who make decisions in government using our collective voice.
Children at the Table aims to:
- Drive ambitious outcomes for babies, children and young people
- Put children’s needs and wishes at the heart of governmental decisions
- Invest more national wealth in babies children and young people
Children say that politicians do not understanded them or the reality of their lives; here is our chance to ensure the next government put children at the centre of decisions. If you support the campaign, please sign and share widely the petition in the link below:
